The third edition of Te Amo Sofia Bachata Festival returns to the heart of the Bulgarian capital from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th October 2026. It takes over City Stage on National Palace of Culture Square, an elegant venue with two stages, two bars and an 800 square metre hardwood dance floor. Across three days the festival brings together 28 artists and ambassadors, four DJs and more than 100 international guest dancers for workshops, shows and late-night socials. At 105€ for a full pass, Te Amo Sofia sits at the affordable end for a three day festival with this many artists. The lineup leans heavily on Balkan and Eastern European talent alongside Spanish names like Miguel and Sunsire and David and Aylin, giving it a different flavour from the busier Western European circuit. Note that the detailed workshop and party schedule had not been published when we checked, so confirm timings on the official channels before booking travel.

Getting there: Sofia Airport (SOF) sits around 10 km from the city centre and connects to the middle of town by metro line 4 in about 20 minutes, as well as by taxi. City Stage is on National Palace of Culture Square in central Sofia, within easy reach of the main hotels. Staying: the organiser had not announced an official festival hotel when we checked, but the venue’s central location means plenty of hotels and apartments sit within walking distance.
