The Vienna Bachata Congress returns 18th – 20th September 2026 for its 7th edition at the elegant Palais Wertheim, a preserved palace in Vienna’s 1st district. Expect workshops for all levels covering technique, musicality, styling, and connection, international shows, and three nights of social dancing, headlined by the Saturday Social Dance Heaven night with non-stop music in the ballroom. Organized by Sergio & Beige of MyDance Vienna, the congress draws an international lineup and dancers from across Europe.

A social-first program in one of the classiest venues on the bachata calendar: if your priority is dancing rather than endless workshop tracks, this is built for you, and the lineup is already deep for a congress this size. Two things to plan around: it is not an all-in-one venue and Vienna hotels fill up early, so book accommodation now. Pass prices were not yet published at the time of writing.
