The summer edition of Lento Dance Festival returns to Vienna from Friday 31 July to Sunday 2 August 2026, this time at the elegant Hyatt Regency Vienna, an all in one five star hotel on Arsenalstraße beside Wien Hauptbahnhof. The weekend packs more than 30 bachata workshops across parallel rooms, three social parties with daytime socials, and two exclusive masterclasses with Cornel & Rithika and Luis & Andrea. The lineup runs deep, led by four couples dancing in Vienna for the first time and backed by four DJs on rotation. A Jack & Jill competition, themed parties and everything under one roof round out the format. Passes are tiered from a €100 Party Pass to the €195 Golden Pass, and the Golden Pass masterclass places are limited, so booking early is the safe move.

What stands out this year is the move to the Hyatt Regency and a headline set of debut couples you will not have seen together in Vienna before. Worth knowing: hotel based festivals concentrate everything in shared ballrooms, so the busiest party hours can run warm and crowded near the floor. The Golden Pass masterclasses with Cornel & Rithika and Luis & Andrea are the clearest reason to move up a tier, and they cap out fast.

Getting there: Fly into Vienna International Airport (VIE) and take the ÖBB Railjet or CAT to Wien Hauptbahnhof in about 15 minutes; the Hyatt Regency Vienna is a short walk or tram ride from the main station.
Staying: The festival is all in one at the Hyatt Regency Vienna, so workshops, parties and rooms sit under a single roof. Room reservations can be booked directly with the hotel. Vienna itself is compact and well served by the U1 metro and trams if you prefer to stay elsewhere.

What is included in the pass?
The Full Pass (€155) covers all workshops and social parties. The Golden Pass (€195) adds the two masterclasses with Luis & Andrea and Cornel & Rithika. A Party Pass (€100) covers the evening parties only.

What level is it for?
All levels. Workshops range from beginner to advanced across parallel rooms, so newer dancers and experienced bachateros both have a full programme.

Can I transfer my ticket?
Yes. Name changes are allowed up to one week before the event for a €20 fee, so you can pass your ticket to someone else if your plans change.
