Feeling The Competition Weekend brings a bachata competition weekend to Copenhagen for the first time, on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th December 2026 at Kvarterhuset Sydhavnen. Presented by The Feeling, it combines two competitions with six hours of workshops and two social parties. Saturday is the Bachata Amateurs League, a social competition without fixed partners, and Sunday is the Bachata Solo Battle, an open level, improvisation only duel where the DJ plays random songs. Judges include top Danish dancers and international artists.

This weekend is made for social dancers who want a first competition experience in a friendly setting. The Amateurs League is only open to dancers who do not teach regular classes or international workshops and have never won a professional bachata award, so you compete against your peers. The full pass (110 €) covers the workshops and both parties, and the league entry is an extra 15 €. Detailed rules and the schedule were still marked as coming soon in early November.
