Bachata Umeå Festival brings its 5th edition to northern Sweden from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th December 2026. The weekend covers sensual, moderna and dominican bachata for all levels, with workshops, an intensive, nightly social dancing and a festival party plus themed parties. The poster features Benjamin & Sara, Jesper & Esmeralda, Severi & Wilanda and Hany & Sofie.

Umeå is the northernmost bachata festival on our calendar and a cosy way to spend a dark December weekend, with a local scene that has kept the event going for five editions. Expect a friendly, mixed level crowd and all three main bachata styles. The early bird sold out in September, and the full pass now costs 100 € to 110 €.
