The 6th edition of Cambré Dance Festival returns to Bilbao from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th January 2027, hosted entirely inside the elegant 4-star Hotel Palacio de Oriol in Santurtzi. Organised by Escuela Cambré, the festival brings salsa and bachata dancers together for a weekend of workshops, socials and shows in an intimate, family-friendly setting. Its signature is direct access to the artists, who dance with attendees on the social floor rather than only performing on stage. Everything happens under one roof, so you can sleep, learn and dance without leaving the venue. Early Full Pass pricing starts at 110€ and rises roughly every six weeks, so booking ahead is worthwhile.

Cambré has built its reputation on the opposite of the mega festival: capped numbers, a single hotel, and teachers who actually socialise with the floor. That intimacy is the real draw, but it also means places are genuinely limited and prices climb on a fixed schedule, so late buyers pay noticeably more. The lineup leans strongly Spanish and Basque rather than big international touring names, which suits the warm regional feel but is worth knowing before you book. Note too that tickets are non refundable unless the event itself is cancelled.

Plan Your Trip

Getting there: Bilbao Airport (BIO) sits about 20 km from Santurtzi and connects to many European cities; from the airport, buses and taxis reach the Santurtzi area, which is also served by the Bilbao metro. Staying: the festival is fully hosted at the 4-star URH Hotel Palacio de Oriol, so the simplest option is to book a room on site by calling the hotel directly on +34 944 93 41 00. Because it is an all-in-one-venue event, there is no shuttle to arrange between hotel and parties. Looking for more bachata in the country? Browse other festivals in Spain.
