The Tallinn Bachata Experience returns for its 5th Anniversary edition, a milestone year for an event that has grown from a small studio festival into one of Northern Europe’s most talked-about bachata weekends. Organised by Crazy Lion Events, it runs from Thursday 19th to Monday 23rd November 2026 at Kultuurikatel, the Tallinn Creative Hub, a central 3000+ sqm venue a short walk from the ferry terminal. The programme packs 30+ hours of bachata workshops and masterclass bootcamps, a dedicated Zouk room, four big parties from Thursday to Sunday, and a week-long Tallinn Experience programme of tours and socials around the city. The lineup brings 40+ international and national artists and DJs, with more than 70% of dancers travelling in from abroad, and the Jack & Jill competition doubles as an official Bachata Social World Cup Major Qualifier.
After four sold out editions, this anniversary year moves into a bigger venue again and leans hard into the experience idea, wrapping the dance weekend inside a full week of Tallinn activities. Worth knowing: the venue is not an all in one hotel, though two partner hotels sit about 300 to 350m away, and the cheaper Blind Bird and Early Bird passes were already sold out at the time of writing, so the 115€ Full Pass is the realistic entry point.

Getting there: Fly into Tallinn Airport (TLL), which has a direct tram to the city centre and the main partner hotel. Alternatives are Riga (RIX, about 4 hours by road) or Helsinki (HEL, about 3 hours including the ferry), and Tallink offers ferry discounts on selected Helsinki and Stockholm routes.
Staying: This is not an all-in-one venue, but two partner hotels are within a 350m walk: Tallink Express Hotel (Sadama 9, from 72€/night) and Hyatt Place Tallinn (Sadama 4, from 77€/night), both with breakfast included for early bookings. Around 10 hotels sit within 500m of the venue.
