Lucerne Flow Sensation returns for its 4th edition to open the 2027 bachata calendar, from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd January 2027 at Vegas Club Lucerne in Kriens. The weekend combines workshops on Saturday and Sunday with three nights of dancing, including a two floor Saturday party and a Sunday social running from 16:00 to 22:00. The programme covers bachata sensual, Dominican bachata, bachata influence and bachazouk, taught by thirteen couples including Luismi & Mariangela, Masa & Polina and Hugo & Ezo. Saturday afternoon also hosts a Jack & Jill counting towards the Bachata Social Swiss Cup.

Few festivals start the year this early: it runs over the New Year weekend, so plan travel and hotels around holiday demand. The venue sits right next to Kriens Mattenhof station, which makes the club easy to reach without a car. Note that the Jack & Jill is not included in the festival pass and needs a separate registration.

Getting there: From Lucerne main station, take the S4 or S5 to Kriens Mattenhof (about 4 minutes); the venue is next to the station. Zurich Airport is the nearest major international airport, with direct trains to Lucerne.
Staying: ibis Luzern Kriens and Holiday Inn Express Kriens are both about a 5 minute walk from the club.

Yes. A Jack & Jill on Saturday from 16:00 to 19:00 is part of the Bachata Social Swiss Cup. It requires a separate registration and is not included in the festival pass.
